Welcome to the Lake District:

A Retreat for Women Seeking Space, Rest and Renewal

Life has a way of becoming wonderfully full.

Full of family, friends, commitments, responsibilities, decisions and people needing your time and attention.

And whilst much of it brings meaning and joy, there are times when a little space of our own feels not only welcome, but necessary...

There is something deeply restorative about stepping away for a few days and giving yourself the same care, attention and kindness that you so often offer to others.

This October, we invite you to join us in the beautiful Lake District for a Retreat created exclusively for women.

Over three days, you'll enjoy gentle Yoga, a guided walk, wholesome plant-based meals, relaxation practices and plenty of time to simply be.

There will be opportunities for quiet reflection, as well as moments of laughter, conversation and connection with a small group of like-minded women.

We are Fabrice and Hannah, founders of Namast'Oss Retreats, and we are a French-English couple based in Paris, France.

We create these Retreats because we believe that making time for yourself is one of the greatest gifts you can give both to yourself and to those you love.

We would be delighted to welcome you to the Lake District this Autumn.

With warmth and gratitude,

"Namast'Oss!"

A time to slow down...

So much of life is so meaningful, yet there are times when many of us begin to long for something simpler: a little more space, a little more quiet, and an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves.

Our October Retreat has been thoughtfully designed around the changing season.

As Autumn settles across the landscape and nature begins its gradual transition towards Winter, we too are offered an opportunity to slow down, reflect and replenish. We are being invited to pause, take stock and embrace a gentler, more nourishing pace of life.

In a world that often encourages us to keep moving forward, the season reminds us of the value of rest, restoration and letting go of what no longer serves us.

With exclusive use of our beautiful retreat home throughout our stay, you'll have ample space to read, wander, reflect, enjoy the surrounding landscape or simply sit back in a comfy seat and take in the view.

Many women join us on their own, some come seeking rest and restoration, others arrive at a point of transition, looking for clarity, inspiration, or simply a little breathing space.

Whatever brings you here, and whether you come alone or with a friend or loved one, you'll be warmly welcomed into a community of like-minded women seeking the same things: space to breathe, time to reconnect, and the simple pleasure of being well cared for.

This Retreat is not about becoming someone new.

It is simply an opportunity to return to yourself — to spend a few days reconnecting with the person you've always been, supported by nature, guided by the rhythm of the season, and surrounded by a small circle of like-minded women.

Itinerary

All activities are optional, meaning whenever you desire time for personal relaxation, reading or reflection, or you have your own ideas for how you wish to spend your stay, you must feel perfectly at ease to do as you wish.

On Saturday afternoon, between finishing brunch and going for our walk, we shall reserve a couple of hours for Personal Time – whether it be to go for a stroll around the garden, relax in a comfy seat indoors or take in the fresh air outside, or quite simply relax in your room…

Similarly, in the evenings, everyone is welcome to do as they please - whether that be to stay in any one of the communal lounge areas for a little while after dinner, breathe in the evening air or take advantage of the solace and quiet of their room.

Lesley B.

"The nine of us have all bonded with one another, including the two of you, so well - greatly helped by our like-mindedness and the fact that we are all of a caring profession."
